A small studio in Lucan

We build websites for businesses within driving distance, and a few well outside it. Small enough that you know who is doing the work, established enough that we have seen most of what can go wrong.

Why we started

Too many small businesses in West Dublin were paying good money for websites that did nothing. Slow, template-built, invisible in search, and impossible to update without emailing someone who never replied.

We started Lucan Website Design to do the opposite: build the site properly, explain every decision in plain English, charge a fixed price, and stay reachable afterwards.

How we work

Small studio, small caseload. We take on a limited number of projects at a time so that each one gets real attention instead of being pushed through a production line.

You will get straight answers, including the unprofitable ones. If a €3,000 website is not what your business needs this year, we will say so and tell you what would help instead.

What we believe

  • Speed is a feature. Every second of load time costs you visitors. We treat performance as part of the design, not an afterthought.
  • Own your own website. Your domain, your files, your content. No proprietary platform holding your business hostage.
  • Plain English, always. If we cannot explain why something matters without jargon, it probably does not matter.
  • Fixed prices. Hourly billing rewards slowness. A fixed price means we are both aiming at the same finish line.
  • No lock-in. Stay because the work is good.

Where we work

We are in Lucan and cover Lucan, Clondalkin, Blanchardstown, Palmerstown and Dublin City Centre, along with the towns and villages in between. Meetings in person are welcome and usually more useful than a long email thread.

What clients say

“They asked better questions than the last two agencies we spoke to, and the site does what they said it would. We get enquiries through it every week.”

“Straight answers, a fixed price and it was live when they said it would be. No jargon, which I appreciated.”
Declan MurphyAdamstown Auto Centre
“Our old site took nine seconds to load on a phone. The new one is instant, and we are finally showing up on the map for the treatments we actually offer.”
